Now getting the stereotypes out of the way, some people outside of the metal genre see the bands and fans as neanderthals, not fit for “modern” society. Yet sit down and chat to us and we are completely normal humans or perhaps more kinder and respectable than you.

Sometimes, this understanding of our music and way of life comes under intense scrutiny especially when a tragic event takes place, i speak here of the tragic death of a Lamb of God fan Daniel Nosek from the Czech Republic and Randy Blythe’s manslaughter trial back in 2012.
